![]() Pregnancy has arrived in simtown! Once you complete the Two and a Half Sims Quest you will be able to build the maternity store in simtown from level 8 (you can find it next to the real estate agency and near the mall) once the store is built this quest will begin. LEVEL UNLOCKS: 8 UNLOCKS: pregnancy and pregnancy events I’d like to see more of that because he’s the only one in legit position to do that.Early Access to Beta Provided by EA/ Firemonkeys The times he’s gone there, it’s been great because he ends up calling people on their bulls*** - he notices the little things people don’t. PW: Looking ahead, what would you like for Eric?Ĭonnor: I always want to see Eric get a little angrier. But Eric understands and can relate to the pressures of her life and in a lot of ways, feels sorry for her because she is just as lonely as he is. And that continues to be their relationship. That’s really been how things are with Serena and Eric since we met them and she showed up in the aftermath of his suicide attempt rather than be there to prevent the catastrophe. Serena is much better at picking up the pieces than preventing the explosion. In a lot of ways, that’s why people love her – she is unattainable and will always please herself first. PW: Do you think Serena is a good sister to Eric?Ĭonnor: I think Serena is tough because she’s a little spacey when it comes to what she should be doing. When they think someone might actually like them, they’re pretty easy and I guess that does show how both of them are struggling with loneliness. PW: Not to get all Psych 101 on you, but I kinda feel like their relationship with William explains away so much of Serena & Eric’s behavior.Ĭonnor: Despite being very capable people, the both do tend to go with the first person to show them legitimate affection. I mean, he actually asks Eric “are you ok?” He has a loyalty to Rufus but is Will’s son, so there will be a bit of push and pull there. In two short years that he’s been Eric’s stepfather, Rufus has done more parenting than Eric’s ever had. PW: William van der Woodsen, Eric & Serena’s father (played by Billy Baldwin) comes back in two weeks - will Eric still be rather angry with him?Ĭonnor: Well, he ducked out of town and in that time Eric has really developed a strong relationship with Rufus. Dan is someone who absolutely understands what it’s like to be an outsider yet reluctantly involved in this world because of the feelings he has for people in it. PW: Last week he admitted to pretty much having no friends, will we seem him forging new relationships in the weeks to come?Ĭonnor: Eric really starts to build a relationship with Dan, which I think is a positive one. ![]() He’s someone who cares about the people he cares about and wants to do right by them at any cost. I think he’ll continue to have a bumpy road. Whether it’s coming to terms with his sexuality, scheming with Jenny, trying on being nasty, trying on being nice - he’s still trying to figure out what kind of man he wants to be. When we first met him – from his hair to his clothes – it was pretty clear that he was trying on a lot of different personas. Eric is in a constant search to figure out who he is. PW: Even to the detriment of their relationships as we saw the other week with Jonathan.Ĭonnor: Absolutely. When living in a penthouse and being surrounded by opportunity is your go-to, it’s a lot to ask for someone to say they’re above it all. I think when you have real issues of self-doubt and loneliness, that wealth and beauty are even more attractive. PopWrap: Eric always made a big show of denouncing Jenny’s scheming life choices but he’s very much doing that right now - do you think anyone can escape the Upper East Side with their integrity in tact?Ĭonnor Paolo: I think so - and Eric is the best hope out of any of them. ![]() I talked to Connor about Eric’s season three journey, the daddy issues both van der Woodsen children have and why their might be a smackdown in his future. For various reasons there will be no IM-ing About “Gossip Girl” this week - instead I’m bringing you an interview with one of “Gossip’s” boys, Connor Paolo who plays PopWrap’s oft-punching bag, Eric van der Woodsen.īut in recent weeks the character has been getting a little more duplicitous and therefore more beloved around these parts.
